The Hollis Brookline Middle School PTSA's mission is to provide that important link between school and home. Students perform better when parents are actively involved in their learning experience. We encourage you to join the PTSA and to attend its meetings and presentations. It is with the help of committed parents that the staff, teachers, and administration of HBMS can give our students the best Middle School education and experience possible.
The PTSA meets the second Tuesday of each month, alternating daytime and evenings. Click here to join the PTSA.
Next PTSA Meeting will be on November 14 at 8:30am.
Please JOIN us on November 7th, 2017, 6:30PM to 8:30PM at the Hollis Brookline High School Auditorium for a Screening and Community Discussion of the documentary Screenagers.
"Award-winning SCREENAGERS probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including the director's own, and depicts messy struggles, over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world."
We invite youth to attend with parents. No childcare will be provided and children must be able to sit through the screening and participate in a discussion with other youth after the film about their ideas for improving the manner in which families, schools, and communities handle this issue.
